MUSIC ON THE PORCH
Just confirmed that we’ll have music on the back porch at 1601 Broadway on Saturday the 29th, across the street from the playground at Elizabeth Park. 2:00 to 4:00. Double-reed extravaganza, oboes and bassoons! Ken Bronstein hosting, with Jennifer Weeks, Pat Nelson, and their students.
CAR BREAK-IN
Looks like our cars were broken into last night. Every once in a while we have someone coming around the neighborhood opening cars and seeing what they can find. Unfortunately, I left my car unlocked last night and they took my kindle that was in the glove box. So warning the neighborhood to keep your cars locked even if they are in the driveway.

FOUND KEYS

LOST REMOTE CONTROL CAR
My 9 year old nephew accidentally left his birthday gift outside their parked car when they left the Squalicum Park playground Monday night August 24. They went back later, but it was gone. If anyone saw it and picked it up, could they please let us know? He’s super sad and would really appreciate having it back. We can send you a photo.

TRAVELING TO VANCOUVER, BC?
Is anyone commuting or traveling between Vancouver and Bellingham? My friend who lives near PNE has my folding kayak in a 40 lb large rolling duffel bag, and I’m hoping to get it back sometime. I didn’t think we’d be closed out for so long. Happy to pay for the service.

I’m still not certain just how this is going to happen! It turns out the concert I recorded on Monday won’t be ready in time. I’m planning to live-stream and I’m busy learning how! Somehow, by 7:00 PM, when you go to our webpage there will be a link to click, and you will be magically transported to my concert! Right now the link won’t do much of anything, but by 7 PM it will work. I’d love to have you join me while I sing, live.
